E received a small amount of cash in a card from one of his friends as a birthday gift, so I told him I would take him to the mall to spend it. I tried to stress that it was "his money" and that he "could spend it on whatever he wanted to."
He bought 24 large brownies.

I have thee children: Ryan (10), Ethan (7) and Lily (4). One is autistic, one gifted and one adopted. This is a record of some of the amazing things they say and do. I try to stop and look around at least once a day.
