Today's Good Free App of the Day comes again from our steadfast reporter in the field, Deanne:
"I know what you're thinking - there's in-app purchases. BUT, you don't have to buy anything, it's just a short cut to get things more quickly. All the upgrades in the store are available by simply playing the game. I had so much fun playing this game."
"You start with three instruments and you just jam on them - the monkey will then repeat what you did, note for note. When you have a good rhythm going, he will dance, clap and look appreciative. If you are slow and hesitant, he looks a little bored. The longer you jam and the more the monkey enjoys himself, the more bananas you earn. Feeding these to the monkey will unlock more songs. In a different section of the app, you can draw and record your own music! Lots of fun, no musical knowledge needed but great for building musical appreciation."
Of course, when she wrote about how "she" had so much fun playing drums for the monkey she meant "my kids."
** Please note ** Only the app's developer can control when an app is free or not. All apps that we post as Good Free Apps of the Day are verified to be free at the time of this post. We make no guarantees otherwise. **

Every day we pick what we call the Good Free App of the Day, an app that we have downloaded, tested and certified: It can't have a ton of ads or just a little content with a ton of in-app purchases.
It also has to be good.
We then present them to you to read, download, and share so, based on which ones got the most hits, here are your Top 40 Favorite Free Apps. (We've eliminated apps that were only free for a limited period of time.)

Court Ensemble Ca. 1900 "When the Empress wore cloth of gold (generally only at their coronation), the Grand Duchesses could wear cloth of silver. As most Empresses preferred cloth of silver (it was more flattering, and far less heavy), the Grand Duchesses rarely had the opportunity to wear it except at their weddings, when it was required. For other occasions, the Grand Duchesses wore velvet gowns in a color of their choosing, which was reserved for their exclusive use."
